Connector in different configuration

Purchased for '06 Jeep Liberty. The power connector on this unit is horizontal as opposed to the vertical configuration on the OEM unit. There's nothing wrong with that, but it rests against the inner sheet metal during assembly. The locking tab was also a problem. The tab broke during installation. The plastic at this point is clearly very weak. The device fit right into place and required no modifications. The fan wheel is balanced, powerful and quiet. An acceptable replacement for the money spent.
