Review on 🔊 Powerful 6 Channel Bluetooth Home Audio Amplifier System with 750W, USB, Micro SD, Headphone, and Microphone Inputs - Pyle PA Sound Receiver by Michael Moonin

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The PYLE PTA62BT.5 six-channel amplifier is an excellent, compact and versatile device at a great price.

I really like this receiver/amplifier. For many years I've been looking for a compact multi-channel stereo amplifier that fits into a low profile cabinet in my hallway and allows me to easily drive individual speaker zones. I particularly like the separate volume controls for each channel. I have one channel for speakers in my shop, another channel for speakers on the patio under my gazebo, and will eventually use another channel to hook up speakers in my kitchen and maybe a fourth channel to run a few in my living room . Set up was pretty easy and straightforward. I've had some issues with the Bluetooth connection, but it probably has more to do with my phone than the device. I only have two suggestions for improving this unit: 1) The manual lists the location of the subwoofer outputs on the back of the jack, but doesn't give any details about them. As I haven't connected a subwoofer to the unit yet, I don't know if the subwoofer output is for a specific channel or if it is shared by all six channels. It would be nice to clarify this in the user manual and promotional materials and efforts. 2) I have limited range when using Bluetooth connection. I know, that the problem is mostly related to the placement of the amp in the case and the fact that there is usually an outside wall between my phone and the amp. While the built-in retractable Bluetooth/FM antenna is simple and functional, it doesn't seem like it can be upgraded. It would be nice if the antenna could be detachable in future versions of the product and replaced with an improved or reinforced antenna for longer range, similar to what they can be in WiFi routers. Overall I am happy with the product and look forward to using it. Once I find time to hook up the subwoofer I'll update this post with my findings in case anyone is interested. Terrace speakers running on channel A will play the subwoofer, which I plugged into my store even though the store speakers on Channel B are all muted. Not the best design but the sound is still good and for the money this is a great device. if the antenna were detachable in future versions of the product and could be replaced with an improved or reinforced antenna for longer range, similar to what may be in WiFi routers.
