Review on Cuisipro 4 Cup Gravy/Fat Separator by Jordan Gonzales

The product works exactly as it should. I've read some complaints about food particles clogging the drain but I don't understand how this can happen when using the filter that comes with the kit. Large pieces are blocked at the top and do not fall into the container. Anything that can pass through the screen holes should be small enough not to block the drain hole. I had no problems. I definitely appreciate - even require - that the product is dishwasher safe. I hate hand washing things that get very greasy and obviously your grease trap gets greasy. :-) Compared to a classic grease trap (with a spout that comes out of the bottom of the container) I was a bit concerned that the bottom of the container would be a mess once drained and sealed. That said, I was afraid it would leak and there would be a mess on the counter. I put it on a plate to be on the safe side, but nothing really spilled. If I have any complaints, it's that this product is relatively expensive. But as long as it lasts (and so far so good), I can live with the price.
