Review on TIMEMORE 2020 Espresso Coffee Scales, Digital Kitchen Scales with Auto Timing, 2000 Grams, Black by Gary Parker

I've been using this scale for a few weeks as a replacement for a $20 scale/timer I bought here at Revain. This one wasn't waterproof, so I looked for a replacement that wasn't $200. I found the Timemore scale and was particularly excited to find that it charges via USB-C. It took a few weeks to ship from China but the scale works as advertised. That's a little more than I expected. As you can see from the photo it's bigger than my espresso drip tray but that's ok. The only frustrating part is that when you use the TARE or TIMER button, you press on the scale, which registers a change in weight. It's just an annoying little nuance of button interaction, as TARE delays for a second or two to ignore your presses. In terms of USB-C support, I was able to charge it from my MBP USB-C to USB-C charger. I would recommend this scale to anyone looking for a premium waterproof scale/espresso timer that doesn't require Bluetooth or has hundreds of dollars to spend.
