Review on Eagle Creek Packable Daypack Black by Chris Bailey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Pretty, durable folding bag

Everything about these bags needs to be seen in context. They really are meant to be folded as a key feature of the bag and that requires a lot of different compromises. So. It actually packs into a small pocket - it uses the front small pocket as a storage pocket. This is a SMALL bag so check the measurements. I can fit a 15-inch MacBook Pro with a case in a backpack, but with difficulty, and nothing else fits. Something bigger like another company's 15-inch definitely won't fit if you're thinking of using it as a casual bag to toss your computer around. This bag will also have a short lifespan if you're carrying stuff that heavy in it, but that's also part of having a bag that folds down into a small pouch. The front pocket is a nice feature that not all of these pockets have. There is a water bottle holder. The shoulder straps are pretty flimsy and flimsy, but they have a bit of padding, about as good as you're going to get with this type of stuff. don't expect much here or from a similar bag that fits in a pocket. The bag looks pretty snazzy and doesn't look like any crappy parachute camping stuff. The fabric itself has some weight and is not transparent. This definitely brings me on vacation! This is great if you're making an all-in-one travel backpack and want a nice little bag for the city that won't take up much room in your big backpack.
