I really like this set of rulers. It is made of stainless steel and is excellent for intricate work. It's extremely thin and allows for accurate measurements, but be warned. You must use fine-tipped pens and pencils. This ruler doesn't work as well with a marker with a thicker line tip as it does with a thicker straight edge. I mainly use this for detailed measurements (although I do use it for drawing smaller lines). Inches and mm are PRINTED on the top of both the 12" and 6" models and there are inch to mm conversion charts from 1" to 1" on the back for the 12" and 6" models 63/64 inches! Both have a hole in the end for hanging on a drawing/craft table (very handy, it's always where I need it). It comes with a plastic storage pouch and a faux suede drawstring pouch. Due to its "thin" design it can feel flimsy, it isn't (I suppose you could bend it enough to deform it, but it won't deform with normal care and use). I am very satisfied with this set. This is my tool for measuring / intricate lines.
