When my kids were little and had respiratory/skin issues I was looking for a good humidifier that worked well and leakproof, I had to buy replacement filters/cartridges/whatever and it was easy to clean. After about 5 different ones we found the Crane Elephant. This has been an integral part of our house for many years. Now that everyone is older we've replaced the elephant with this drip and it works just as well, with water for 1-3 nights (depending on your setting), it's super easy to clean and it's small so it's not overwhelming. bedside table or desk.
