I have two old Ford trucks with just over 400k miles and one with just under 300k. I've gone through several ball joints over the years. I've always used Moog. I seem to get around 70k to 90k miles before they start to get a little sloppier than I prefer. I usually replace the top and bottom and usually replace both sides at the same time. the only thing i noticed is that if you loosen the preload on the ball joints in the workshop, their service life is drastically reduced. like cutting it in half. so after installing new ball joints I don't align the front end. I have always been satisfied with Moog products. and would recommend her to anyone. Yes I think I will use the same lettering on the upper ball joint
