There are better options

I just received this laptop so I'm just sharing my first thoughts. So the weirdest thing about the Vivobook is that the speakers are on the bottom, so the sound is muffled. The keyboard has a "soft touch" compared to my HP laptop. I personally like the sounds of a keyboard clicking. The graphics aren't as sharp as my HP's, but it's not terrible. The numeric keypad is pretty thin, so start and end cues have been added to the 7 and 1 keys (hope I explained it right lol). Battery life is ok so far. I've only been using the laptop for about an hour and 15 minutes and the battery is at 55%. Basically, this isn't a laptop you can travel with without a charger. The laptop feels solid, not strong enough to drop on the floor and it's ok, but it doesn't flex. The laptop is quiet, but how long this will last when working remotely is unknown. There isn't much heat compared to my HP either. So I will update over time ***UPDATE 7/10*** So the laptop will not charge above 79%. Strange. It's very possible that I'm the only one, but it's best to let you know if it happens again. 60% πŸ˜‚. It's weird but I think it helps the battery. This setting can be changed in MyAsus****26. April 2021****Wi-Fi card freezes and crashes when opening multiple apps, making this laptop unsuitable for heavy use. The fan runs constantly. Suitable for light work and light play. The monitor is not strong. When working on a tractor-trailer, there are bumps in the road and the monitor just dangles.
