Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Park Tool Shimano/Sachs Aris/Sunrace/DNP Epoch Freewheel Remover: The Ultimate Tool for Removing Freewheels by Mike Rubenstein

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worked great, great tool, great price, fast delivery, worth the price.

Purchased to remove the freewheel rear sprocket on my son's old Mongoose mountain bike. We bought the bike from either the Academy or WalMart about 5-8 years ago, it hasn't been ridden in years, the bearing grease has dried up and the wheels hardly spin anymore. I needed this tool to remove the freehub so I could remove the bearings on the right side of the bike and clean and re-grease the bearings. This tool fitted the wedges perfectly and I used a 1" socket with a 1/2" drive and a breaker to remove the freewheel. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to break the freewheel due to previous comments on this tool and attempts to remove it. I used to use SeaFoam brand penetrating spray oil to loosen the bearings and that deep creep may have made freehub removal easier. Just in case, I would recommend applying sea foam spray or liquid key at night. It worked great and I know I will use it in the future. Great tool at a great price
