While it's a solid kit overall and the adjustable brightness and viewfinder types are nice, the main drawbacks are addressed here. If you have a permanent install, these imperfections might not be a problem for you. The first major downside is that you need an allen wrench to adjust the finder scope. All my other viewfinders like this have dials or wheels. It's a real pain trying to find the spanner/wrench every time I need to line it up. The first big flaw wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the second big flaw which is that it doesn't support alignment. . makes the laser itself. but in general the block and its mount are very sloppy. The slightest slap or touch and he's confused. My scope setup is buggy and only the slight bangs when it's rolled onto the yard knock it out of plane. If you are truly portable and able to take the scope in and out then forget it. it NEVER straightens up again when you take it off and turn it on due to the device being sloppy/loose on the mount. It has a lot of curves. It's a shame - the main unit is solid, but the bracket it's attached to and the hex key adjustments make this a disappointing kit that's always misaligned.
