The coating wears off with use.
I just built it and loaded it with spices. good build quality, no problems with welding or screws. easy to assemble. holds all my spices, when loaded its weight is enough to keep the unit from tipping over. Here the good news ends. There is one major downside to the way the tray scratches the edge of the rail. the coating is scratched by streaks/dust/particles which doesn't do me any good as it goes straight into my prep area. unfortunately I have to send it back.
