Review on 🔘 Oster Core 16-Speed Blender - Black/Glass Jar - Model 006878 (Brushed Chrome) by Chris Castro

I bought this blender to replace an Oster that I've used for over 20 years and still works (it was just old and I thought a new one would be better). The new mixer worked fine, with a little less power. But after just one smoothie handle, the black plastic screw at the bottom of the jar broke. This part is a bit thinner and made out of cheaper material than my old blender. I contacted support and they told me they don't have a replacement for this part. It took me a few days to get this response and I found that some of my old mix was working fine. So I asked them to just send me the same part for THAT mixer (they sell that part separately). But they insisted on sending a replacement mixer (of a different model), which I thought was overkill. When I received the replacement, I took the jar out of the box and found that the screw-on part was even cheaper than the replacement blender! I will never buy anything from Oster again. The only thing worse than bad products is customer support which is even worse!
