Review on Yokohama Ice Guard IG55 205/60 R16 96T winter by Edyta widerska ᠌

A little disappointed, a bad purchase.

Ice is great. Everything else is dangerous and uncomfortable. I don't recommend this tire to anyone. Some pros: It rides well and slows down on ice, as stated, there was not a single place where in the winter of 2022-2022 I got stuck on the front drive of my puzoterka. It goes uphill and rolls downhill perfectly, even if it is bare ice, the ABS never worked. The spikes are securely fixed, not a single one has been lost during the season. With its cons: On clean asphalt it is very noisy and at a speed of more than 80 the steering wheel rattles strongly. Apparently because of the spikes. There was only noise on the other tires. IMPORTANT! Many write that they love the track. This is true. I noticed that in the city and on the highway it is very difficult to get out of the rut on this rubber. The same applies to an uncleaned road. Behavior on a poorly cleaned road, where there are bumps of snow or ice, is very dangerous. It also does not drive well in snow from 60 and above, the feeling that snow is clogged on the tread and the car begins to “float” on the road. On the highway, he got into a rut, could not get out of it, the car skidded and drove into a ditch. This is the first time this has happened to me in 10 years. The convergence / collapse / balancing showed that everything is in order, the point is in the rubber. The most disgusting thing is driving in the rain, like on ice on summer tires, driving a car, driving more than 40 is dangerous.
