Review on 🛼 Tanzfrosch 100% Cowhide Roller Skate Toe Cap Guard Protectors with Bonus Shoelace Pair by Andrew Sticher

TL;DR - Soft, flexible, they fit Jackson Rave skates with minimal fuss and space. Not sure how they will hold up as I just bought them. first impressions. I was looking to buy some protection for my new Jackson Rave and while I was looking to buy a pair of Riedell socks, many reviews indicated that they might not fit other brands of skates. These lids do not have this problem. From the lace placement to the toe stop, it has a great fit and plenty of room. Packaging (4/5) The package arrived in a resealable bag and contained a pair of socks, shoelaces, and a $5 "gift certificate" offer. I immediately threw it away as it was most likely "Hey, leave a good review and we'll reward you blah blah blah". Quality (4/5) * Toe Caps: The feel of really soft suede looks great and ensures it won't scratch a skate shoe, but I honestly have to wonder how it will hold up to rough riding/stopping. * Laces: Good idea, but the laces are completely useless as 1. they are not waxed like other premium skate laces, 2. do not compare to the "3D" laces that come with the Jackson , and 3. they are only about 50 inches long while Jackson laces are 67 inches long. Considering the Jackson Rave is a low-cut boot, I can't imagine laces being useful on typical high-cut boots. by reattaching the toe stopper and threading the lacing through the two holes on the cap. Note. I highly recommend installing the toe stopper first as you can easily flip the cap and then slide it over the top of your boot to lace up after installing the toe stopper. Just make sure the cap doesn't get pinched between the washer, nut and burr (the hole is big enough to be easily tightened when the cap is upside down). Value (?/5) I mostly ride outdoors so we'll see how the super soft suede holds up, especially since a pair of these cost the same as a pack of other toes. Sure they look better but it doesn't make much of a difference if they don't last so I plan to post an update once I try the caps.
