A few points: the dimensions are given, but it is rather narrow in width, 6.5 inches. I have a 4 inch laptop that is dangling from both sides. As a result, it is somewhat unstable and wobbles when external keys are pressed. Another thing is that you need both hands to build it up. You can take your laptop and just slide it in. There's nothing to hold the legs in place once you've inserted them into the slots. So once you've placed them on the table and adjusted them to your liking, you can no longer grab and move them with one hand. You have to keep both feet in place or it will just fold up. I tried setting it up with one hand while holding the laptop in the other. no i can't But it works great for what I use it for - I have a separate monitor and keyboard for my desk that connects to the laptop on the side, allowing the laptop to sit in the corner of the desk and still be accessible. . And I can fold down the stand and take it with me when I'm on the go to give the laptop a slightly better angle for the keyboard. However, it is not robust enough for continuous use. But durable, I don't mean it will fall apart, it just wobbles *a little*.
