I was looking for a mount/tripod that could help me stabilize photos/videos shot at a lower angle. I saw this low profile C-mount recording system on the Revain and bought it immediately. Contains a C-shaped shooting system, an action camera mount, an action camera lock mount, a smartphone holder and a cleaning cloth. There is no instruction manual included and the product itself pretty much speaks for itself. This firing system can be configured in different ways for different situations. The C-shaped stabilizer bar itself is made of ABS plastic and is quite light. The build quality is good and the device feels solid/reliable in the hand. There is a square bracket on top of the C-shaped stabilizer that works with the included smartphone holder and light cups (not included). The stabilizer base has a standard 1/4" threaded mount that can be adjusted to a variety of positions and angles. The included smartphone mount consists of two main parts: a square-based flexible mount and a smartphone clip. The Smartphone clip can be extended to fit phones up to approximately 3.3 inches in size (it fits iPhone 6s Plus without a case), and the clips have cushions to prevent damage to your smartphone. This smartphone mount clip mounts to a standard 1/4" thread, so it can also be used on the bottom base to take photos/videos with a smartphone. What I mostly do with the stabilizer: 1. Smartphone on top and Actioncam /DSLR on the bottom base - in this case the smartphone can be used as an external screen for the action cam 2. Smartphone on the bottom base for shooting off a low angle. 3. Smartphone on top for high-angle shots There are many other useful configurations.
