Review on πŸ” Accurate Marking and Mortising with ROBERT LARSON 605-1250 Beechwood Gauge by Jason Flippen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice little gauge for measuring and marking tools

Nice little gauge, works great. Just thought I would comment because I read some of the negative reviews and was hesitant to buy it. My two concerns were that the screw didn't tighten the sensor enough, causing it to move and causing inaccuracy, and that the plastic screw was poor quality. The screw works well, there were no problems. I found it can be a little tricky to install by holding it up against a ruler, but that's just my bad technique. First mark a piece of wood, then set the sensor to those marks and it works great. Plastic might look cheaper than a metal screw, but to be honest it might be the best material for this product. Definitely recommend it.
