Review on Nikon 50mm f/1.4G AF-S Nikkor lens, black by Boyan Lalov ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits the description completely, very satisfying.

In general, apart from the fact that I had to tinker with adjusting the focus, the lens iscommpletely satisfied. The focus system is not the quietest. Do notrush to drawcomnclusions. See examples of pictures here: Pros: 1. Build quality. 2. The ability to correct focus in AF / MF mode, without fear that you will twist the focus motor to it (I turned the 50mm 1.8 II Canon head like this)) 3. High resolution glass, although 50 1.8G is a little better. At aperture f4 - the maximum resolution of glass is achieved, and at 50mm 1.8G at f5.6. Data taken from www. photamazon. de - a very useful site if you choose a lens for yourself)) 4. Of course, the aperture itself and bokeh) Has cons: The disadvantage is that almost all specimens have back focus, i. e. it is better to have a camera with fine AF adjustment. I will give a good example of how I adjusted my lens directly on the D7000: gradually picking up (adjustable in the camera from -20 to +20 steps), because in our case, the back focus is set to minus. At setting -14, the most accurate result was obtained, immediately without changing the object and without changing the distance to the object, I move the lever on the lens to the MF position, turn on the Live View mode, enlarge the image as much as possible and see the absolutely possible sharpness. If not sharply, then you again adjust + and - and the procedure is repeated until the desired result. As I already mentioned, my copy has a value of -14, this is a fairly strong back, such an sensation that Nikon began to make its lenses on Sigma equipment. And I'm not kidding, it's time to produce a quality product.
