Review on ๐Ÿ“Š DROK 180038 Digital Voltage and Temperature Monitor: Car Motorcycle Battery Voltmeter Thermometer Detector by Bobby Inappropriate

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Worth buying, although I would change the design a bit if I had the powers.

Overall great product, worth 4.5 stars. A small but significant change I would make would be to change the red temp gauge, maybe half orange, half pink, or just green. The reason for this is that red in combination with blue disturbs the human eye, making the visual image a bit cluttered. In addition, some of them have a USB port on the side. not mine. Always appreciate the added functionality, even if in this case the USB port is unlikely to be used given my location and the presence of other USB plug-ins. Aside from one minor downside and the lack of USB, the DROK Temperature Voltmeter is both practical and attractive at a reasonable price for those of us who want to keep up to date with what's going on with the motor, battery and other devices. Things. When the sensor is inserted into a standard cigarette lighter socket, it protrudes only slightly, about 3/4 inch. Since I didn't want it on the dash, mine was added to an auxiliary bed that I installed in the passenger seat where it's both out of the way and within sight or reach. I'm thinking of installing one under the hood with an on/off switch for handy information when working or servicing. Alternative designs exist for this purpose, which include wiring and mounting brackets. Almost every time I approach the car, I look out the window to know how the battery is doing, and that factor becomes even more useful when I am who I am. are approaching the final months of battery life leaving a few things tied to that power draw. In addition, the meter itself, of course, consumes electricity. Overall not a heap but enough to lose 2 or 3 tenths overnight and more if you haven't ridden for a few days. Before I just took the pictures my voltage had reached 12.1 volts and now it's been two days since the last start. So I connected the charger already installed in the engine compartment and then took pictures. Wanting it so badly, I bought the DROK last year when only Celsius temperature readings were available. This one with Fahrenheit is new to me, coming out this week. The other went into the spare tool box.
