This is a nice little digital voltmeter and thermometer. My biggest complaint is that the temperature sensor is on a small wire that hangs down the side of the device and is very weak. I can see this breaking because it's not secure. It also comes out at the bottom of the device. So when you plug it in and the reading is up, the sensor is pointing down, which in my car means the sensor is touching the console, which isn't ideal for temperature readings.

My alternator is broken and the first thing I knew about it was when the charging system light came on. Glad I was close to my house! However, it took me a while to diagnose the faulty alternator (it has 3 circuits so I didn't notice until after the last circuit failed). This device is very light and easy to use. This item is amazing and works great! I have this for my stereo to track voltage levels when my subs hit those deep bass tones that make your ears and face itch lol. As you can see in the video, the volume of the subwoofers was quite low and the voltage fluctuated a bit. It's very delicate, but in a good way. This is a "great" product. The only downside is that reading the digital display can be difficult or impossible if your vehicle's outlet is angled down toward the floor of your truck or car. I would recommend that the seller ask the manufacturer to make this device. This is a very handy device if you want to know the status of your battery or charging system (as well as the ambient temperature!). Overall great product, worth 4.5 stars. A small but significant change I would make would be to change the red temp gauge, maybe half orange, half pink, or just green.
