My weird car has an outside thermometer but no inside thermometer. Designers rightly assumed that the human body is the best measure of what the temperature should be. But I'm carrying passengers, and only a thermometer can tell me if they'll be okay. I also wanted a device that would show me the temperature in the dark. It seemed like the perfect device. It turned out to be pretty accurate. All my digital thermometers, and I have many, are slightly different, so I don't expect this one to be accurate either. On a cold day, the temperature reading is corrected within seconds of the vehicle warming up. As you would expect, the position of the thermometer affects the readings, but I'll soon find out what temperature the thermometer should read in order for the temperature in the cabin to be comfortable. For me, the battery voltmeter is an added bonus.
