This is a wonderful microwaveable heating pad. I had the same one for years, but my husband decided to ignore the directions and repeatedly heated it for several minutes at a time over the course of about four hours. I never had any issues with it, when heating it according to the directions. This time however, it burned a small hole in the fabric. He took it out of the microwave without noticing and we had thousands of little ceramic beads pour out all over the kitchen. A month later I'm still finding them!The size and shape of this are perfect for draping over your neck and shoulders, where I carry all of my tension. I like to use it before bed, then stretch after my muscles are nice and warm. It really helps get rid of tension headaches. Like I said, if you follow the directions, you shouldn't have a problem. I just microwave for 1-1.5 minutes in a 1200 watt microwave if it's still a little bit warm from a previous use, and it lasted for years that way. I haven't been able to find a comparable product, so I ordered the same one. I'm so glad they are still making these!
