I was a bit reluctant to buy toner cartridges (without chip) because I'm not the most comfortable person. This was the first time I bought this product. I was surprised when I opened the toner cartridge box and found tweezers and pliers inside. Oh no, what did I get myself into? Luckily it was easy - on an old OEM cartridge - the pliers took out the plastic support piece so the chip could be removed, then took the tweezers and gently grabbed the chip and pulled it out of the slot. (If you've ever played the Operation game, this step will remind you to play that game without a beep.) Open the chipless cartridge, take the tweezers and insert the chip in the same spot on the chipless cartridge. Insert the cartridge into the printer. Easy to make and glad tongs and tweezers were included. Also, if I'm not happy with the product or there is a problem with the chip, the seller has been in touch with me to make sure they are willing to help or provide a return and refund if requested. The print quality is clear and there are no smudges.
