A few years ago I had a backlit disc and it was a thrill to toss this thing around in the dark. This flying disc is nothing more than an overpriced novelty. First of all, the description is completely misleading. This is far from the official (or professional) size and weight for "maximum" play. It's too small, too light and too flexible. It can fly about 15 meters straight, but after that it starts to have a mind of its own. As a flying disk, it is rather weak on its own. The LED is activated by turning the flat knob in the middle of the bottom. It feels cheap, makes the device awkward when you "crocodile" it in the middle, and makes a weird whistling noise and then throws itself. LEDs aren't very bright. It's almost invisible in sunshine. Of course it's better in the dark, but still not spectacular. It can be better. look elsewhere
