Ok so I decided to try the $32 iBolt mount straight out of the bag. It was cheap and flimsy and I had a bad feeling that I would hate it after I was like that. The tablet fell on the floor and we got lost on the journey. I reluctantly sent it back and bought this RAM bracket for double the price. The RAM mount is worth it! holds the 10" Vankyo tablet like a glove, it doesn't move. I love that the release mechanism offers a new and improved feature that my previous RAM mount didn't have. It's mounted on a roll cage near the roof but it's just in the way of my rearview mirror. Can't live with that much. The iBolt tablet mount has rendered the mirror completely unusable. I wish the RAM was cheaper, but compared to the iBolt, the RAM mount is a good purchase and it's worth it 1st photo with the tablet mounted on the ceiling with the Back Country Navigator showing Off Line maps for the Moab Utah hiking trails The second photo shows 8 different rubber grips that really hold the tablet in place.
