Nice chrome TP holder can also hold towels

I am satisfied with this product. You can feel the weight in your hand when you install it, it feels strong (not cheap). Chrome is really good. Has a deep shine. I like how the lever stays in place but with a slight push it can be adjusted for smaller or larger rolls of paper. The hook part is not round. It has a rib that holds the paper roll very well. I also like the Delta Lahara pivoting paper holder in my master bathroom, but I think the rotating paper holder in the guest bathroom can be confusing. When a guest needs to change a bun, it should be easy. The rod in my master toilet is so unobtrusive that it's not clear how to remove the caster. With its hook shape, this Moen Eva TP holder is beautiful, functional and easy to thread. Moen's EVA towel ring is about 8" in diameter, so it sticks out over the edge of a short section of wall, but this toilet paper holder is only 7" and fits perfectly. I really like how the flat bar holds my towel better than the ring. I ordered several, 2 for toilet paper holders and 2 for towel holders in one of our bathrooms (I had room for a towel ring on the other wall but wanted them to match). I don't have a specific Moen leveling bladder installation tool, but I don't need one either because they only require one hole. I also didn't use the plastic insert screw that came with it because I installed it directly into the wood studs. Installation is very quick, says Moen, but you have to be careful that the small lines on the plastic circle are perfectly level before you push the spikes into the wall, or the hook will be crooked. The instructions say not to overtighten. screw. It shouldn't be too tight as the metal tips will prevent the hook from rotating. However, I mounted it on a wooden stand and my electric screwdriver may be a bit overzealous. I ended up placing an #8 washer between the wall and the back of the black plastic fastener because I wasn't using their white plastic bushing. This sleeve is located at the top of the wall and there is a recess on the back of the black plastic element to place it. The washer filled that space and allowed me to tighten the screw without damaging the plastic.
