Quality wire. The insulation is flexible, has a rip cord to expose the 4 wires underneath. Arrived clean with no twists and knotty areas that I have encountered with other wire insulation. Flexible enough to fit under and around baseboards/corners. I've run it through the ceiling and through walls/under baseboards with no problems. I can't give an "audiophile" sound quality comparison (if you do a little research, you'll find that "audiophiles" can't be consistent in their comparison of speaker cables and how they affect sound quality). But I'm picky about my sound. equipment/sound and you will have no problem transmitting high quality sound through this cable. It's 12 AWG wire and quite thick. It can easily be used with good quality banana plugs, which can then be plugged into the back of your home theater/speaker wall (at the front, you connect speaker cables with banana plugs). However, if you try to plug it directly into a small speaker, spring connector, or terminals with smaller holes, it won't work. You're better off with 14 AWG or less. Generally good earnings!
