Reads keys very well. But it doesn't read my EWS-3 (OD46J (MCU)). All I ever get is a "Pin no Touch!" error. I tried turning the chip to any position, cleaning the contacts with alcohol, cleaning the contacts with a sharp knife, but nothing helped. I even sent the "bad" one back to have it replaced. But the replacement had the exact same problem. Oh yes, the first one had the disadvantage that the blue and green wires on the square socket were short-circuited. I fixed it by cutting off the sloppy solder bridge. But it didn't help. The second did not have this disadvantage. I'm a little surprised others were able to read their EWS-III (unless they were fake reviews). In any case, I'm sending a second one back for a refund. The only good thing I can say is that my EWS-3 is still working. (fuh)
