Review on πŸ”Œ iJDMTOY 10-Second Time Delay Relay Module: 5-Pin 12V 30A SPDT for Automotive Lighting by Dwayne Calhoun

Perfect for my needs

I used this to delay the turn on of a secondary amplifier connected to the speaker outputs on a 2016 Subaru. The car sends a nasty loud bass through the stock speaker wiring when the car is first started. This works great for delaying turn on and solving my problem, but for some reason mine allows an instantaneous voltage drop of 6-7 volts until it switches to 12 volts at ten. seconds. So if you plan to use this for a stress sensitive element, this could pose a problem. As long as you need at least 12 volts, those 10 seconds is fine. Just an update, sons have been using this for a while, still works great. He no longer shakes the house every time he starts the car. I would recommend this to anyone who needs this delay timer, but it will not replace a standard fuel relay etc, for example, although Revain's search function says otherwise. This is a fully custom product perfect for what I need. Also, the reception can be either positive or negative depending on the post you use. Sorry for no photos, didn't think to take them. Also, it's a black plastic box to which I soldered the shrink-wrapped wires. Pretty boring look.
