Very Densely Weighted Microballs

I own many PowerNet items, including large format exercise balls (also known as softballs) and am generally happy with all of their products. While I find them useful for hand-eye coordination and palms-up/palms-down grip support on contact, I find them just too tight to be a great training aid. The problem is that these microballoons race on hit so retrieval is a bit of an issue as they tend to fly quite far on a good hit. through the grid, which again is a problem with retrieval. Maybe I should have used one of the lighter models which would have limited flight a bit, but part of the goal was to hit a heavier object for more power. Of course they have softened a bit, but range and roll are still a problem for me. If I had to rebuild, I would probably choose a lighter model. the durability of these. They've taken hundreds and hundreds of hits and apart from a few scrapes from the racquet and the ground they're still in great shape. Another bonus is the carrying case, which makes it easy to take half a dozen with you wherever you go. Just toss it at the bottom of a baseball bag along with all the half-empty Gatorades and seeds.
