Review on πŸ‘ž Classy and Comfortable: Cole Haan Pinch Tassel Loafer Men's Shoes by Jon Conner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Trash shoes are good for shoes

I've had Cole Haan shoes for years and especially these tasseled loafers. I ordered this pair to replace the same shoes I've had for over a year. The new shoes looked the same on the Revain website but the shoes I received did not match. They were much lighter and the soles looked a little different. Seams looked crappy and ironed, no real seams. Despite my common sense, I honestly kept them because I was too lazy to return them. That was about a month ago. Fast forward to the day I wore them for the first time. The left boot is a bit large and slips at the heel, but inside the boot a thin leather footpad covers half of the insole. With every step I take, the edge of this cheap piece of leather rolls off, forming an extremely uncomfortable lump under my foot. Terribly crappy construction, inferior products and a cheap look that makes me wonder what the heck Cole Haan was thinking when they made this. Shoes. If I can return them to Revane at this late stage, I will. I will never buy Cole Haan shoes again. Go to Johnson and Murphy and similar brands. The old shoes don't trust the photos and run in the other direction. Large selection of other manufacturers.

Pros
  • Hard wearing surfaces
Cons
  • Not everything is as good as it says it is
