Review on 🌞 DiCUNO Daylight Non-Dimmable Lighting: Optimal for Equivalent Daylight Illumination by Tony Mayes

Good bulbs - wider than standard bulbs

My original bulbs weren't labeled so I'm guessing they were around 60 watts as they're about 50% brighter than this one. I only mention this because I want to include images and account for the difference in brightness. Like I said, good packaging. I received and installed it today. The clear cover wobbles a bit, but none of the covers on the four I installed came loose or ripped off during installation and I had to force them into the slots. And that's the only problem I've had so far. In fact, I only removed the star because they are wider than the stock G9 bulbs that I replaced (see photos). One of the four sockets does not fit or does not fully insert the bulb, which could cause it to pop out. If so, I'll give it a star or two. Another problem with the width is that if you replace them with standard G9 bulbs (or if future G9 LEDs are narrower) the base won't fit properly because they can bend too much: because the LED bulb was wider when I pulled out and inserted a standard G9 bulb, the stock bulb dangled in the socket and didn't make very good contact. I had to bend the bottom pins and shake them until they touched and ignited - due to minor vibrations it lost contact and went out. I will be pleased. In hindsight I think I would probably buy the 20/20 the 60w equivalent but for now I can live with that. Anyway, I use 16W instead of 240 and they run noticeably cooler. This problem does not occur with conventional analogue incandescent/halogen lamps. I suppose something to consider for photography.)

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad but...
