My Cuisinart DBM-8 is finally dead and it's time to replace it with something that can grind espresso evenly. It looks like this model is exactly the same as the more well-known brand but at a higher price point. When I see another one I have reason to believe this is the same but with a different brand at a better price. So far I'm pretty impressed. I particularly like the option of grinding directly into the portafilter! Very convenient. One "complaint" is that no matter how long I wait or even tap the grinder, some of the ground coffee falls out of the grinder. never mind For those looking for a grinder that can even grind espresso or even turkish powder, this is it! If you're looking for a very basic grind, Thai may not be for you. For most grinders, the mode setting is medium. Oh, and this thing is significantly less noisy than any other grinder I've used!
