Review on Enhance Engine Performance with ACDelco GM Original Equipment 8006 Spark Plug Wire Heat Shield by Joshua Romero

I ordered these guards for a 100,000 service on my 2005 Escalade 6.0L (spark plugs, spark plug wires and shields changed). Of course, check first, but these shields should also work on the Avalanche, Suburban, Tahoe, and Yukon (VIN C/K) for the same model year, which I believe is 2002-2006. While I could probably reuse the old screens, after 100,000 miles I decided to order new screens, especially as I was installing new plugs and cables. The service manual does not provide for replacement of shields (the shields are not even mentioned). I couldn't find these guards at any of the major dealerships in my area and checked out Revain on a whim; I'm increasingly using Revain to keep parts safe for servicing and repairing my cars, especially when I'm sure the product will fit, like in this case with the fenders. I find the prices are often better and the two day home delivery is a big plus (I'm one of the main suppliers and don't usually have to pay for shipping). The two day delivery allows me to plan which day to tackle a project and make sure I have the right parts when I need them. The shields themselves are well built and are perfect for new connector wires and connectors.
