I took a guess and ordered this for my 11 year old in a size Large. It was still too big for him. He is 5 feet 2 inches tall and now weighs about 110 pounds. Looks like it will be a perfect fit next year. It was a very nice find nonetheless. Good quality material. all day, not just for outdoor activities. And the blue color is really good in person; it lights up his eyes. I also think the shirt is well made. There were no sewing errors or loose threads that had to be shortened.
