Review on ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Black 9U Wall Mount IT Open Frame 19 Inch Rack with Swing Out Hinged Gate by NavePoint: Enhanced SEO by Erik Haynes

A few things that could be improved but generally work well

Once this thing is installed and the frame is closed this thing is solid. Easy to assemble. However, there is room for improvement. In any case, seriously consider whether you need a recline posture. I thought I did, but the implementation doesn't make it worth it. When the rack is empty, it is quite inconvenient to open the top and bottom latches at the same time. When the rack is completely full, or only when you have equipment in the up and down positions, it is impossible to access the latches on the swing frame. Keep this in mind because the loss of 1U at the top and bottom of a rack that is already only 9U is significant. Ideally, the latches should be accessible from the outside of the rack. Rocking the frame reduces the stability of the entire structure, and with enough weight, the side that is still locked can pop out (the frame can be opened from either the left or right side). It's just not worth it. Also, the lack of horizontal bracing at the rear of the rack makes it difficult to mount on a wall with 16" spacing between racks, which requires a grommet reinforcement that fits the studs to allow the rack to screw into it. However, if the rack had horizontal braces with screw holes, it would be much easier to mount it on the wall since the width of the rack actually covers the racks. wall mount. I think that's fine considering there are many different ways users might want to set this up, but something to keep in mind. , and it still seems like a good price even if you don't factor in the rotation feature. I would give 3.5 stars if that was an option.
