I use a monitor that I bought years ago that is central to my work. Since this is quite an expensive thing, I had to do something when it got dark. My guess was right in that the HDMI to VGA cable had failed. This cord is perfect. This solved my problem and I hope it will work for many years to come. I don't buy the latest and greatest anymore, so I'm perfectly happy just swapping out the connectors. But they have to work, and this one does, bringing back to life what could have been an expensive monitor replacement. There are no vision problems here. I highly recommend.
