Review on 🔌 SIIG USB 3.0 Gigabit Ethernet LAN Adapter for Windows & Mac - Black Gen 2 (JU-NE0611-S2) by Mike Wallace

This is of very limited Useful because it suddenly turns off at the most inopportune moment. It seems structurally well built, with solid connectors, heavy duty cables, LED indicators, etc. But it goes offline from my network at least twice a week. For example, this is very inconvenient when I fill out an online form, conduct a search, or make a transaction; My work is then lost when it loses network connection. I checked all software settings (drivers etc.), they are not the problem. I've also tried plugging it into multiple USB and Ethernet jacks (of various configurations) to no avail. I never have this disconnection issue when connecting through my wireless adapter and router. When this adapter works, it gives more speed. Not trusting it to maintain a reliable connection, I usually use my wireless connection instead - switch to the SIIG adapter just to transfer large files. I've had the same issue with other gigabit USB adapters, so I'll keep this one for limited use only. Disappointed, it's not reliable or reliable enough to be my main network connection.
