I used these valve caps on my bikes. Less than a year later I had a flat tire and had to remove the cap so I could use my can of tire slime. No way. The cap is attached to the stem. This is called galvanic corrosion and it fuses two dissimilar metals together. Luckily there was an auto parts store nearby and the guy was finally able to remove the caps after finding two vises to remove the cap. On the street with bare hands will not work. I will never use a valve stem cap without a plastic insert. This is pure rubbish. Only use them to gift to someone you absolutely hate. These caps will ruin your day at some point in the future.
