So I'm a novice hobbyist in this business and have been trying to set up this module for about a couple of weeks (it's my fault) . Finally I was able to do it with the help of many guides, videos and help from the seller. It works really well, it's compact and cheap, which is probably a good thing since you can do a lot of dirty testing with it. It won't fit on a breadboard, so you can buy an extra universal ESP adapter for it (or solder it yourself, or just use FM cables). Otherwise I'd say it's pretty good. 3/5: Ease of use 5/5: Value for money with an overall 4/5 horsepower stars. The seller was very friendly and patient with all my questions. PSS It comes with AT firmware already pre-installed, but can also be programmed using either the USB TTL connector (using 3.3V) or using the Arduino (use the 115200 baud rate). For some reason I could only program it (Arduino IDE) by selecting the ESP8285 board.
