If you are reading this you undoubtedly need something to either purify your water or kill unwanted pathogens that could harm our precious fish; If yes, then you have chosen a good product. I have a 150 that gets very crowded and this is made worse by having to set up a barrier for my breeding pair of Midas/Red Devil cichlids. My Pleco can't clean this area anymore, so I need some creative cleaning on my part with standard toilet methods, gravel eyes, detritus-eating bacteria and all that good stuff. However, I now have this wonderful light that I can throw into the weir to capture water as it's drawn into my barrel filter. I haven't been able to find a cord of sufficient cord length so far and honestly don't want to use an extension cord, this little beauty has both length and hour increments. I would highly recommend it for its value.
