Duz wut it sez. Doubled the amount of memory in a really, really slow Intel machine and now it's just painfully slow. Greatly improved, but of course still hardly applicable. There's something that helps almost as much as doubling the memory (or more), but that's a personal choice - if you're using MSSE, you might want to disable "real-time protection" - which basically scans everything you look for (not only if you download it or manually select "Scan Using".) - This MSSE functionality actually makes some of those horribly inefficient Intel machines (much) slower. If you do, be prepared to see the MSSE icon's "red" status - it doesn't mean there's an issue other than that you've disabled a feature that's recommended to be enabled.
