Best Laptop Ever

I received my new MacBook Pro M1 two weeks ago and am very happy with it. This machine is absolutely incredible in terms of speed, looks, weight/size, display and battery life, plus texture (it feels so good on my wrists as I type) and pretty much everything else you can think of. I also like the space gray color scheme, the new keyboard, touchpad, and larger trackpad. There are so many ways to customize the system to make it work just the way I like it. My previous MacBook was a 2011 model and it still works today, but after 10 years it was getting too slow and the trackpad had issues with clicks so after a TON of research I decided to pull the trigger and get a new MacBook Pro with one to get M1 chip. A few suggestions I can make after nearly two months and probably over 30 hours of research into the new MacBook: Go for the standard 8GB model. RAM and 256 SSDs โ€” you can get that at Revain for $1239 versus $1299 at Apple โ€” so you save $60 and have the added satisfaction of not having to deal with nerdy nerd snobs who work at the Apple Store. , who rudely asked me as I went to get a new laptop, "Um, do you have an appointment? Well, you have to make an appointment if you want to go shopping." I love Apple products and will never use any phone or computer other than iPhone and MacBook again, but after this experience I will never go back to my physical Apple store stores. I mean, seriously, do you really want me to make an appointment to buy a $1300 laptop? Whatever it is, dude. Anyway, in the few YouTube videos that mention the 8- GB RAM model was compared to the 16GB RAM model (costs $200 more), the 8GB did pretty much everything equally well - and they really pushed it to the limit. Paying for 16GB of RAM is if you want to edit 8K UHD video or you're a super serious music artist or an advanced professional photographer - and even then the difference isn't that big.For the everyday user (me or anyone who even no com computer professional) the 8GB running on this new M1 chip is simply stunning, outperforming and even as good as any other laptop on the market. like a $2,200 15-inch MacBook Pro with an Intel chip. In terms of storage, 256 SSDs are standard - which is what I got - and you can pay $200 more for 512 SSDs or $400 more for 1TB. But now that cloud storage is available, you don't need to store much on your laptop drive, you can just store it in the cloud. Overall, I could honestly spend hours talking about everything I really like about this car. . A free one-year Apple TV subscription is another small perk too. But I'm still amazed every day at how incredible this car is. I've been online for over 3 hours now and the battery is still at 92%. The new Retina display is great. All is well. I am really in love with this laptop and would recommend anyone looking for a new laptop that will last and outperform everything else on the market to get the new 13 inch M1 matchbox.
