Everything I expected except 1 item

I'll start this review with 1 item I don't like so we can get it out of the way. I mean, let's face it, that's what most people look for when they buy a product - the other side. It has a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, EVEN THOUGH Apple stopped using it in their portables many years ago. Why didn't they include the Lightning connector that their headphones plug into? Forces you to upgrade to either a standard headphone jack or BT headphones (probably trying to push their AirPods line)…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

Noticeable improvement over the Intel-based MacBook

I use my MacBook Pro primarily for music production and performing. So Logic Pro and many amp models/plugins are in constant use on my machine. The M1 chip beats the Intel chips in terms of boot speeds, battery life, and the ability to handle large logic projects with dozens of tracks, plug-ins, software instruments, and live recordings. The battery life has also improved a lot compared to my 2020 Intel machine. I'm not exactly doubling my battery life, but it's not far off. I don't really care

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Best Laptop Ever

I received my new MacBook Pro M1 two weeks ago and am very happy with it. This machine is absolutely incredible in terms of speed, looks, weight/size, display and battery life, plus texture (it feels so good on my wrists as I type) and pretty much everything else you can think of. I also like the space gray color scheme, the new keyboard, touchpad, and larger trackpad. There are so many ways to customize the system to make it work just the way I like it. My previous MacBook was a 2011 model and
