Works well in code readers and scanners
Good diagnostic tool for your car. Once you figure out the semi-confusing instructions, it's not that difficult to use. Removed codes from our Mercedes SUV that remained active even after the repair. To avoid confusion, this is NOT a Bluetooth connected device. It broadcasts its own Wi-Fi signal, which your mobile device should connect to. When connected to this OBD2 device, you will NOT be connected to the internet on your mobile device. There are several third-party mobile app options that you need to download in order to use the scanner. The simple free app can be used for clearing codes (which I used) and interpreting codes, but I'm sure the paid apps are much more functional.
