First of all, the license plate frame is amazing! While the license plate itself has room for 4 screws, the frame only allows for two. I hope this doesn't greatly affect the strength of the panel. Just take a look. A small Phillips screwdriver was included, but I highly recommend using a drill. You may need to drill the screws that came with the plates through the holes in your vehicle before installing the plates to ensure the screws fit. This is where a drill comes in handy because unless you're the Hulk, I doubt you'll be able to do it with the included screwdriver. What I REALLY dislike about the frame is that it obscures the part of the state name (Texas in my case) that is at the top of the frame. I'm really not happy with it and hope they fix this before they start producing more. It's not cute at all when the whole reason to buy and use a license plate frame like this is to be CUTE! Since the dealer at the dealership installed the frame on my truck, I'll keep it to myself and use it for now. I will look for a replacement that does NOT partially cover the condition. I really wanted to love this frame but it just doesn't let me be great! I spoke to a police officer (friend) today who told me that I could be stopped and fined if the exhibition status is partially or fully closed. These license plate frames are flying off my truck! The frames are very cute, but I don't want to risk it. You may check with the authorities in your state to determine if the same law applies before making this purchase.
