Review on Enhanced Stens Spindle Assembly 285-093 | Compatible with John Deere L100-L130 & GY20050, GY20785 | Ideal Replacement Component by Robert Lemons

My original order was for MaxPower 11206 spindle assemblies replacing the John Deere GY20050 and GY20785. I didn't check for play or sloppiness before installing (my fault). I gave each 4 shots of lube before installing them. The first time there were no problems. I knew the mounting holes weren't pre-threaded, but since they were soft metal, my original screws screwed them in with no problem. After replacing the second one, I finally checked the play in the shaft and blade mounting plate. The first was great; No problem. The second is not very good. It had more sloppiness and play than my original bad spindle. I contacted Revain the day I received them (Saturday) and they sent a replacement which I received today (Monday). To my dismay, the replacement was worse than the one she replaced. Revain sends me a refund and offers to try a different provider. MaxPower may need to deal with their supplier and/or quality control. :(
