Not a bad mouse. Razer products hit or miss, only time will tell if this continues. I have a Razer keyboard that lasts many years, but Razer mice only lasted a few months. It's good that the mice have a 2-year guarantee. This is an Asian market exclusive, so the retail packaging is in Chinese. This is a legitimate product and I was able to register it using my Razer ID account. The Razer Synapse 3 takes it too, which is great, the Razer DeathAdder Chroma requires Synapse 2. It's a great all round gaming mouse. A sensor with a resolution of 6400 dpi, which is enough for me. My DeathAdder Chroma went up to 10,000 DPI, but I still rarely go above 6400. Advanced users can go for a mouse with more features/buttons or a lighter mouse for FPS players, but this is a great place to start. Its size and shape are identical to the DA Chroma. It doesn't support Chroma RGB, the white version only has white light. You can control the brightness and two modes, static or breathing. I chose this mouse because my DA Chroma was having trouble pressing the middle button and I had to send it in for a warranty replacement. I bought this DeathAdder Essential as a backup and have always wanted to try a white mouse in my setup. With the new Razer Mercury line I can definitely envision an all white theme instead of the black one I have now. My only issue with the mouse is the side grips. On most other Razer mice, these grips are rubber, but on this mouse, they're just plastic. Therefore, they seem more slippery and not so comfortable to grip. The handle on the right side of the mouse also shows signs of dirt. I rarely eat or use a mouse, I've read that white mice get dirty easily, so I think they were right.
