Review on 🚴 Tannus Armour Tire Inserts: Puncture-Proof Bike Tube Protector for Thorns & Pinching by David Strawn

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Installation is not a problem, WATCH THE VIDEO, we will evaluate the performance. **Review updated 9 months ago**

They are easy to install if you watch the video and use the reduced rim diameter center line as a guide. The installation wasn't that difficult at all. If you are unfamiliar with mounting tires on rims, watch one of the YouTube videos. Talc or baby powder makes aligning tubes and inserts in the splint much easier, although I didn't use it. I will update if I have problems or after a sufficient period of use. Hopefully this is a product that can handle a lot of the goat head peaks that we have in the Colorado Front Ridge area and trails in the Denver area. I haven't changed a single apartment since I installed them 9 months ago. I'm going through the most disgusting thing urban Denver can throw at you. Very often I take the risk of leaving the trial period to do that unused section of trail if it looks like it's hiding a jump or fun feature. In general. I don't regret spending the money at all. It has saved me and those around me from many disappointments. They add a little weight, but that's best if you need to add it.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Interchangeable
